Pastor M is the Hmong Coordinator in Vietnam. Due to security concerns, we cannot divulge his identity. The Hmong are a people group primarily residing in the mountainous regions of Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand. As a coordinator, Pastor M trains and guides teachers, establishes new classes, and nurtures the growth of the ministry. Additionally, he helped translate the CCI curriculum into the Hmong language. Today, more than 100 indigenous pastors and church leaders are being trained among the Hmong.

Pastor M said, "God opened the door for me to study, and I would like to contribute something to my tribe. CCI's curriculum is practical and suitable to our situation. Because of this reason, I work with CCI hoping to train and equip more church leaders."

Pastor M's story is a prime example of what CCI endeavors to do—equip leaders who then train and equip others. CCI's relational discipleship model proves to be effective in reaching remote tribal groups like the Hmong and helping them to learn more about Jesus Christ. Pastors and church leaders spend over 550 hours under the guidance of a Christlike, mature Christian pastor or leader. This training helps them effectively shepherd the people God has entrusted to them. With over 22,000 pastors and church leaders who have graduated through the training, CCI is significantly impacting the global church.

Giving Tuesday is the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This year Giving Tuesday falls on November 28, 2023. Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day encouraging people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
