Last month, we shared our focus for 2024 with you. Our focus is to multiply, based upon Acts 6:7, which says that “the word of God continued to increase, and the number of disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem.” The Greek word for “multiply” is plēthynō. Out of the ten times it is used in the New Testament, we read it five times in Acts. Additionally, the word “increase” (Gr. auxanō) is used along with plēthynō three times (Acts 6:7; 7:17; 12:24). Through the message of the gospel proclaimed by men and women in the power of the Holy Spirit, the word of God increases and multiplies.
How does CCI focus on multiplication?
The gospel increases and multiplies through trainers, coordinators, national directors, and regional directors, whom the Holy Spirit empowers in their teaching of the Word of God. Our emphasis this year is on equipping, empowering, and evangelizing.
