The task of evangelizing is where we need to be intentional. There is a great need for evangelism in this world. People need to know about Jesus. We are also called to teach and make disciples. It is not sufficient for us to just bring someone to salvation. This is the point at which we, as Christians, need to be more involved in their life in a discipleship relationship. I have often seen where someone will submit to salvation; months will pass, and we don't see a change in their life. Is this because they were not saved? Is it because they thought they would live a wonderful life once saved? Do they have other things from their past that make them believe that they need to be saved continuously? Or perhaps they did not have someone who discipled them and gave them tools from the Bible, called Scripture, so they could use them to combat the temptations of the world just like Jesus did when the devil tried to tempt him. This is one of the benefits of the courses that CCI offers. We can disciple our students one-on-one and help guide them to grow biblically through their lives.
