Mexico: We are halfway there!

"The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe." Proverbs 29:25

We have made it to the halfway point in our educational Journey here at Roca Blanca Spanish School. Rocca Blanca gets its name from a large mass of rock that is located just of the coast. This is an interesting phenomenon because as you look at the rock mass from afar it appears to be massive. However, the closer you get to it the smaller it appears. The mass of rock has a very white appearance and this is why it is called Rocca Blanca, Spanish translation “White Rock”.

We were able to use technology to broadcast our faces on the screens in church while we were able to see the congregation in a massive video call. We set up outside since the internet at the school was not working that morning and we had to rely on our cellphone service to transmit our faces and voice. It was great to see familiar faces. The church asked us some questions about our schooling, the area where we are located, and requested we speak some Spanish. After all, that is why we are here.
