Arnolds: Northern Mexico

In February we helped our sending church, Sun Coast Baptist, with a community outreach project we called “Souper Bowl”. Rightfully named since it was on the day that most of us watch the last football game of the season and eat lots of food. The outreach consisted of two parts. In the first part, we gave out canned goods to the community as a pantry stimulus. Then we made soup for the homeless and served it to them. There were only two homeless people that showed up so most of the soup went to the workers. We also ate of it for days afterward. It kept getting better and better the more time it had to marinate.
